Quick Start

Der Eisendrache is a bow map. Almost everything worth doing runs through Wrath of the Ancients and its four upgrades — including the main Easter egg, which cannot even be started until one bow is upgraded.

The order of operations

  1. 1

    Feed the three stone dragons

Three stone dragon heads around the map. Each one eats 8 zombies, and only one at a time — so don't kill a whole horde at once. Lead them over one by one.
  2. 2

    Collect Wrath of the Ancients

With all three fed, go to the Knight's Tomb — the bow is floating there waiting for you. Every single thing below needs this bow first.
  3. 3

    Activate the pyramid

Stand on the four square panels around the pyramid in the Undercroft until each glows permanently blue. This switches on periodic anti-gravity, which you need for wall-running in two of the four bow quests.
  4. 4

Build and charge the Ragnarok DG-4

The gravity spikes. You need them charged for the boss fight, and every player needs a set.
  5. 5

    Learn the Wondersphere

The bouncing ball launcher. It's your fast travel, your escape button, and the Fire Bow quest is impossible without it.

Pick your bow

Everyone in the squad should take a different bow — the Easter egg needs all four, one per player. If you only ever do one, note that the Fire Bow is the hardest because of the Wondersphere ring shots.

🐺 Wolf Bow

Kreeholo lu Kreemasaleet
Posters in order → skull off the mountain → follow the dog → wall-run for the arrow.

🔥 Fire Bow

Kreeeezolt Kreeeegeblargh
Arrow from the clock → rocket rock → three rings from a Wondersphere → chain shots to a fireplace.

⚡ Lightning Bow

Kreema'ahm la Ahmahm
Weather vane → three bonfires → wall-run five panels → charge urns → electrify the fires.

💀 Void Bow

Kreegakaleet lu Gosata'ahm
Ceiling symbol → knife a zombie on the panel → six heads → six crawlers → decode the urn's name.

Mistakes that cost you the run

  • Killing more than one zombie at a time at a stone dragon — it only eats one at a time.
  • Letting someone else kill zombies near your soul box. Only your own kills charge your box.
  • Shooting into the Knight's Tomb on the Wolf Bow instead of at the dog heads above it.
  • Aiming at the base of the rocket rock on the Fire Bow instead of the small glowing top.
  • Falling off the wall mid-run on the Lightning Bow — all five panels must be one clean run.
  • Panicking when you miss the Void urn's three words. Just shoot the urn and it repeats them.
  • Starting the Easter egg before upgrading a bow — the teleporter orbs simply will not respond.

The Bow

Wrath of the Ancients — the base bow

Watch

Before any upgrade, any Easter egg step, or anything else on this map, you need the standard bow. It is not optional and it is not hard.

  1. 1

    Feed the three stone dragons

Three stone dragon heads sit around the map. Stand near one with zombies following and it will inhale them. Each dragon needs 8 zombies, and it takes them one at a time — kill a whole group at once and you waste them.
  2. 2

Take the bow from the Knight's Tomb

Once all three are fed, head to the Knight's Tomb in the Undercroft. Wrath of the Ancients is floating there. Grab it and you're ready to start any of the four upgrade quests.
Everyone should get their own bow. The upgrades are per player, and the main quest needs all four elements covered by four different people.

The Four Bows

🐺

Wolf Bow

Kreeholo lu Kreemasaleet

MrRoflWaffles guide
Posters in order → skull off the mountain → follow the dog → wall-run for the arrow.
You need Wrath of the Ancients in hand before starting. Feed the three dragons first.
  1. 1

    Find the four posters

Four posters spawn around the map. Hold Square / X on each. A guitar strum means correct; a duff note means you broke the sequence and must start again.
  2. 2

Activate them in this exact order

    1 THRONE2 KNIGHT3 MOUNTAIN4 ARROWS
The order never changes, but which four spots they occupy shuffles each game. Possible locations: the clock tower, the room above Mule Kick, the church (up the stairs opposite Speed Cola, above the MR6 wall-buy), and by the Knight's Tomb.
  3. 3

    Collect the arrowheads

With all four done, walk past the Knight's Tomb — the King's arrowheads pop out of the wall. Pick them up.
  4. 4

Shoot the flag on the mountain

Teleport from the launch pad. There's a flag at the top of the mountain — shoot it with your bow. Miss and you can just take another shot.
  5. 5

    Grab the skull

A skull rolls down the mountain and lands back inside the map. Go and pick it up.
  6. 6

Give the skull to the headless skeleton

In the Undercroft, find the box with two wolf heads on it. Beside it is a headless skeleton — hold Square to give it the skull. A dog appears.
  7. 7

Follow the dog and fill three holes

Just walk with the dog. It stops, digs a hole and howls — that means kill 10 zombies around the hole. It digs again, the hole glows blue, and you take a bone out of it. Then it moves on.
Three holes: the courtyard outside the church → the slope outside Double Tap → the Undercroft, by the Pack-a-Punch part location.
Dog vanished? Not a glitch you can't fix. Start a new round and hold Square on the box again — it respawns and walks back to the hole you were on.
  8. 8

    Activate the pyramid for anti-gravity

You need to wall-run next, which needs anti-gravity. Stand on each of the four square panels around the pyramid until they glow permanently blue. They don't have to be done at once. The Undercroft then cycles anti-gravity roughly every 2 minutes.
  9. 9

    Shoot the dog heads

The dog now paws at a wall. Look up and shoot the dog heads with your bow. Do not shoot into the tomb — that's the mistake everyone makes.
  10. 10

    Wall-run to the arrow

A platform assembles briefly. Wall-run onto it and hold Square. A skeleton hands you an arrow — hold Square again to take it. Missed it? Just rebuild the platform and go again.
  11. 11

    Charge the box and collect

Place the arrow in the wolf-head box by the pyramid, then charge it with souls. You must get the kills and they must be near the box. Then hold Square to hand over your bow.

Wolf Bow complete

The box takes your bow, holds it a moment, and hands back the upgraded wolf version. That is one of the four the Easter egg needs.

Fire Bow

MrRoflWaffles guide
Arrow from the clock → rocket rock → three rings from a Wondersphere → chain shots to a fireplace.
You need Wrath of the Ancients in hand before starting. Feed the three dragons first.
  1. 1

Get the arrow from the clock tower

Climb to the top of the clock tower. At the back of the clock, shoot the wall — an arrow drops out. Pick it up.
  2. 2

Shoot the rock after a rocket test-burn

At the rocket launch pad, the rocket periodically performs a test burn. The moment the burn ends, get outside, turn right, and shoot the rock on top of the building. Miss the window and you wait for the next burn.
Aim high. Target the small glowing part at the top of the rock — hitting the base usually does nothing. Stand as close to the doors as you can while they're shut so you can sprint straight out.
  3. 3

    Find the three rings

Three sets of rings sit around the map: on the slope leading up to Double Tap, on the roof next to a Pack-a-Punch part location, and on the roof next to a Wunderfizz spawn.
  4. 4

Shoot each ring mid-flight from a Wondersphere

You have to shoot each ring while flying through the air in a Wondersphere. This is the hard step — expect several attempts.
Make it easier: have a teammate buy the Wondersphere so you can focus on aiming; have someone stand on the ring as a visual reference; and let the host take the Fire Bow — this step is finicky otherwise.
  5. 5

    Charge each ring with souls

Once hit, a ring stays lit. Stand inside it and kill zombies close by — their souls flow in. Roughly 10 zombies fills each one.
  6. 6

Read the symbol on the clock

Back at the clock tower, turn the exposed gear at the back of the clock. It spins and reveals a symbol. Note it down.
  7. 7

Match the symbol to a fireplace

That symbol corresponds to one specific fireplace on the map. Match the clock symbol to the matching fireplace symbol — that's the one you're lighting.
There is a lot of bad information about this step online. It is a symbol match, nothing else.
  8. 8

Chain four shots to your fireplace

Stand inside the ring that corresponds to your fireplace until you see an orange vignette on screen, then shoot toward the fireplace. The arrow lands somewhere and a small rock marks the spot. Walk to it — close enough to keep the glow — and shoot again. You get four shots: three to travel, one to hit the fireplace.
Stay as far from the rock as the glow allows for a better angle on each shot.
  9. 9

    Take the sun

Hitting the fireplace gives a Max Ammo and arrows. Head to the roof and you'll see a ball of sun energy floating there. No killing needed — just hold Square on it and watch it rise.
  10. 10

    Charge the box and collect

An arrow drops for you. Take it to the fire box in the Undercroft, then feed it with souls — about 20 of your own kills near the box. Then hand over your bow.

Fire Bow complete

The box takes your bow, holds it a moment, and hands back the upgraded fire version. That is one of the four the Easter egg needs.

Lightning Bow

Kreema'ahm la Ahmahm

MrRoflWaffles guide
Weather vane → three bonfires → wall-run five panels → charge urns → electrify the fires.
You need Wrath of the Ancients in hand before starting. Feed the three dragons first.
  1. 1

Shoot the iron dragon weather vane

Go to the top of the castle and shoot the iron dragon weather vane. You do not need the trap on. A glowing arrow pops out of the wall — take it.
  2. 2

    Light three bonfires

Shoot an arrow at a bundle of sticks to set it alight. There are three, and the order does not matter: on the rooftop by the Wunderfizz / landing pad, a second nearby that can be hit from several angles, and one up on the mountain, seen from the rocket launch pad.
  3. 3

    Activate the pyramid

Stand on the four blue squares around the pyramid until each glows permanently blue. That switches on the periodic low-gravity in the Undercroft, which you need for the next step.
  4. 4

Wall-run all five panels in one go

During low gravity, wall-run the Undercroft and hit five panels along the walls. Fall off and it resets — you must get all five in a single run.
  5. 5

    Fill three urns with souls

Find a sparking urn tucked under some stairs — sparking means it's ready. Kill zombies near it to feed it souls; it only takes about eight. When souls stop flowing in, it's full. Order doesn't matter.
The third urn is inside the rocket launch building.
  6. 6

    Electrify each bonfire

Stand at a charged urn, draw and hold your arrow to absorb its electricity, then shoot one of the bonfires you lit — it becomes an electrical fire. Recharge at another urn for each one. All three lit gives you a quest update.
  7. 7

Place your arrows at the weather vane

Return to the top of the castle. Below where you took the first arrow there's now sparking blue electricity. Hold Square to place your arrows in, wait a moment, then pick up the new arrow.
  8. 8

    Charge the box and collect

Take it to the box with the lightning bolt on it by the pyramid. Feed it souls with your own kills until it stops absorbing, then give it your bow.

Lightning Bow complete

The box takes your bow, holds it a moment, and hands back the upgraded lightning version. That is one of the four the Easter egg needs.

Void Bow

Kreegakaleet lu Gosata'ahm

MrRoflWaffles guide
Ceiling symbol → knife a zombie on the panel → six heads → six crawlers → decode the urn's name.
You need Wrath of the Ancients in hand before starting. Feed the three dragons first.
  1. 1

Shoot the symbol on the ceiling

By Double Tap, there's a symbol on the ceiling. Shoot it with your un-upgraded bow. The ceiling breaks and a purple glowing arrowhead drops. Pick it up.
  2. 2

Knife a zombie over the purple panel

In the room above Mule Kick there's a purple glowing panel on the floor. Melee-kill a zombie standing over it. A Bowie Knife makes this much easier but isn't required. The floor breaks open revealing an urn — hold Square and it rises.
  3. 3

    Activate the six heads

The urn says “that which is scattered” — six little alien heads. Hold Square on all six:
    1. Window sill outside the church, on your right before you go in · 2. Up the slope from spawn toward Double Tap, right, on a broken ledge · 3. In the Mule Kick room — look through the broken part of the wall · 4. In Samantha's toy box · 5. The teleporter room, in a sink on your right as you face the teleporter · 6. Teleport out — in the back of a truck to the left of the rocket launch pad.
  4. 4

Bring six crawlers to the Mule Kick room

Back in the room above Mule Kick: “their souls must be sacrificed in my honour”. Bring six crawlers in and let the heads feed.
  5. 5

Listen for the urn's three words

The urn speaks three words — for example Crown, Stag, Door. Write them down in order.
Missed them? You are fine. Contrary to what a lot of guides say, you do not have to restart — just shoot the urn with your bow and it repeats itself.
  6. 6

Match the words on the six knights

In the room next to the power switch room stand six knights, each with a symbol on its base. Go to the knight matching each of your three words and hold Square — it gives you back a different symbol. Remember those three.
  7. 7

    The lookup table

MrRoflWaffles' own chart. Left = the six words the urn can say, with the symbol on the knight's base. Right = the six symbols the knights give back.
The word→symbol pairing randomises every game. Horn might give Ribbon in one game and Claw in the next, so you must check the knights every single time.
  8. 8

    Collect the purple symbol drops

Zombies now sometimes drop a purple symbol. They vanish quickly, so grab them the instant you see one. You only need the three that make up the urn's name — not all six.
  9. 9

    Inscribe the name

In the Mule Kick room the symbols appear on the floor: filled in means you have it, hollow means you don't. With your three filled, shoot them with your bow in the order the urn said its words. Get it right and it says “that is my name”.
Wrong order just gives “that is not my name” — you can retry, as long as you get out of the room before the flying heads eat you.
  10. 10

    Charge the box and collect

Back at the urn room, hold Square on the beam of light to form arrows. Take them to the skull box in the Undercroft, charge it with your own kills, then hand over your bow.

Void Bow complete

The box takes your bow, holds it a moment, and hands back the upgraded void version. That is one of the four the Easter egg needs.

Main Quest

Main quest — My Brother's Keeper

Watch

The full Easter egg. It ends with launching the rockets at the Moon.

Start here: you must have at least one upgraded bow in your game before the first step will respond at all. Ideally all four players have a different one — you need every element later.
  1. 1

Shoot the orbs above the teleporter

Take your un-upgraded bow from behind the Knight's Tomb and shoot the orbs above the teleporter in the Undercroft until they all turn gold. A growl confirms it. Nothing happens here if no bow has been upgraded yet.
  2. 2

Shoot four wisps before the timer runs out

After the growl, a blue wisp spawns somewhere on the map. Find it, shoot it with a bow, and another spawns. Four in total. Fail and you wait for the next round and start over.
Spawn spots: the table opposite Quick Revive · by the car wheel on the slope to Double Tap · the room above Double Tap (same room as the Wondersphere, on the box to your left) · on the globe in the room next to Sam's · the telephone in the power switch room · the church clock · in the church right of the MR6 wall-buy · the barracks shelf between church and clock tower.
Assign each player an area of the map or you will not find them in time.
  3. 3

Teleport in and write down Gruff's code

All players stand on the teleporter — it fires automatically, no purchase. You land in a black-and-white room with Dr Groph, who types a code onto the screen by the safe. One player's only job is to record that code, top to bottom.
  4. 4

Grab the fuse and the soul canister

While one player copies the code, the others collect two items: the obvious blue canister of souls, and a much harder-to-spot fuse. Miss them and you can simply do the wisp step again next round to return.
You get dropped back at the rocket launch zone — the rocket often launches right then, and a Panzer spawns. Group up and Wondersphere out; kill the Panzer back in the map, not up there.
  5. 5

Fuse the death ray, set it to protect, enter the code

Put the fuse into the death ray generator, switch the generator to protect, then enter Groph's code on the panels. The code changes every round — do all of this within a single round or start again.
  6. 6

Open the safe: tubes and floppy disc

Correct code opens Groph's safe in the teleporter room. Inside: a pair of tubes and a gold floppy disc (the rocket launch codes). Slot one tube into each death ray pillar, on opposite sides.
  7. 7

Play Simon Says at both panels

Switch the generator to destroy, then play the memory game at both computer panels — one by the clock tower, one by the rocket launch pad. Four symbols show on the lower panels; repeat them back in order as the upper panel calls them.
Split the team: two players far away pulling the horde, one on the panel, one bodyguarding them.
Success lights one of the spiked balls on the death ray. If it doesn't light, flip the generator to the other setting and replay the game.
  8. 8

    Press the green button

Both balls lit? On the back of the death ray generator is a lit green button. Press it, then look at the sky.
  9. 9

    Collect the VR generator

Dempsey 1.0 comes back to Earth and brings the VR generator with him. Pick it up off the snow by the rocket. Don't slot it in yet.
  10. 10

Go back for the stone slab

Do the wisp step again next round and teleport back. Groph is gone; a box in the empty room opens after a moment with a stone slab inside. Stand by the box spamming Square the whole time so you don't miss it.
  11. 11

Feed the keeper with all four bows

Now slot the VR generator into the Knight's Tomb. An ethereal keeper spawns and wanders to one of four spots. Stand in the white circle in front of it — your screen glows a colour. That colour tells you which elemental bow to kill with: purple glow, Void Bow. Only kills with the right bow feed the tablet.
More players in the circle makes it bigger and pulls more zombies — everyone get in. One tablet per player, one bow each, four locations. At the Double Tap location you must place the stone slab first or nothing charges.
  12. 12

Put the canister in the MPD

The keeper turns solid, walks to the middle of the Undercroft and rises on red lasers. You'll notice a soul canister missing from the MPD — that's the one you took from Groph's room. Hold Square to slot it in.
  13. 13

Ragnarok on the four blue squares

All four players stand on the blue panels around the pyramid, take out charged Ragnarok DG-4s and slam them down together.
Set up properly first. This next fight took MrRoflWaffles' team 20 minutes. Get all your perks, your bows, the shield, monkeys, gobblegums, and grab a Max Ammo off the tram before you commit. Wipe here and you lose all Easter egg progress.
  14. 14

Boss fight: trap the keeper, shoot its chest

You teleport to a room with a giant keeper. It throws skulls, spawns volcanic mounds and skeletons.

To damage it: when electricity builds in the centre and the keeper descends, a player runs underneath and slams a charged Ragnarok on the floor. That traps it — its chest symbol glows and you shoot the chest (not feet, not hood). It rises again after a few seconds; repeat.
  15. 15

    Hide from the electricity

When electricity builds in the middle and the keeper finishes descending, it bursts across the whole room. If you are not behind a pillar in its shadow, you die. Call it out to your team every time.
  16. 16

    Panzers mean Max Ammo

Once Panzers start spawning you're in stage two — and that's good news: every Panzer you kill drops a Max Ammo. Focus-fire one down when you're running dry. Keep trapping, keep shooting, and pick your Ragnaroks back up or you can't recharge them.
  17. 17

    Take the summoning key

The keeper dies and you're returned to your positions in the Undercroft. Hold Square on the square panel in front of the pyramid — the summoning key pops out. Pick it up.
  18. 18

    Launch the rockets

Carry the summoning key to the computer panel by the clock tower. Launch the rockets at the Moon. That's the Easter egg.
